Iconic local industry appoints global talent

ATTRACTING one of the country’s most pre-eminent scientists to its ranks, Pental Products, based in Shepparton, is pleased to welcome Tabish Amad, who will drive the enterprise’s research and development, as senior research and development chemist.

Awarded the Prime Minister’s distinguished, Global Talent Award in 2020, Tabish is the youngest recipient and the first Indian to be honoured with the felicitation.

With extensive experience and research in clean energy and carbon capture and removal, Tabish is an engineer specialising in research and development in the domains of material science and nanotechnology for clean energy and sustainable environmental solutions.

Garnering expertise working for Australian Universities, research centres in the United Arab Emirates, Tabish has also worked with the Australian aviation industry to reduce carbon footprint and emissions.

Stating that he is pleased to have moved to Shepparton, Tabish said,

“Shepparton is an amazing place to call home and as one of the youngest recipients of the Prime Minister’s Distinguished Talent Awards, I am really excited to make my contribution not only to the Victorian economy but to the local econony as well.”
