HOLIDAY spirit is set to sparkle brighter than ever as the Carols by Candlelight returns to Shepparton at the Queens Gardens on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Now in its 49th year, this cherished tradition promises an enchanting evening filled with music, joy, and festive cheer.

The Queens Gardens will be transformed into a holiday wonderland, complete with festive decorations, live music, and delicious food. Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali, encourages community members to join the family-friendly festivity.

“Carols by Candlelight is the perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy a great evening with family and friends. This event is about bringing the community together, having a good time and celebrating everyone’s hard work and achievements ahead of the New Year,” he said.

The program, running from 6.30pm to 9.00pm, will feature an outstanding line-up of talented local performers, and special appearances by Santa Claus and his elves. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be available on Council’s website and YouTube channel.

This all-inclusive, free community event is alcohol-free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and mosquito spray for comfort.
