THE GOULBURN Valley is set to come alight with AFL fever this weekend, with Melbourne vs Richmond taking place this Sunday, March 3 at Deakin Reserve Shepparton.
Joe Di Conza from Pat & Tina’s BP Service Station wishes to warmly welcome the AFL stars to the region, particularly those from his cherished Melbourne team.
Joe is a lifelong member of the Melbourne Football Club and his three sons Pat, Michael and Anthony have each been club members since birth. The footy fanatic family are also members of the Melbourne Foundation Heroes & Foundation Legends, an elite group of members who contribute funds toward the Melbourne Football Club Development Fund, community and grassroots programs, the Melbourne women’s league programs, the football club’s heritage and much more. Joe and the boys also sponsor three Melbourne Football Club players,
Sam Frost, Jeff Garlett and Angus Brayshaw.
“Of course, I’m very enthusiastic for Melbourne to be here this weekend,” Joe said, “And yes, I’m excited for the Richmond boys to be here too, mostly for the banter and friendly chatter we have with fellow fans and motorists that visit our service station.”
