THE dreaded double drop-off will be a thing of the past for families at four schools in 2024, including Kyabram P-12 College.

The Victorian Government’s ‘Kindergartens on School Sites building program’ is about making kinder easier to access, making drop-off and pick-up easier for parents and providing a smoother transition from kindergarten to school for children.

As part of the $14B Best Start, Best Life reforms, the Government is ensuring every new primary school has a kindergarten on-site or next door, with 12 new kindergartens opening in 2024 right across the state.

Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn last week named the service providers for four ‘Kindergartens on School Sites’ which are set to open across Victoria next year, with these four kinders delivering an additional 363 kindergarten places for local families.

The new service providers will be located at:

Roxburgh Park Primary School – Northern Schools Early Years Cluster

Willmott Park Primary School – Uniting (Victoria and Tasmania) Limited

Kyabram P-12 College – Shine Bright

Quarters Primary School – Early Childhood Management Services
