LOCAL ladies had the opportunity to try different types of shooting at a free event at the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia’s (SSAA) Shepparton range.
On the day, participants were free to try clay duck shooting with a shotgun and target practice with rifles and handguns. No licence or experience was required, just the willingness to step out of your comfort zone and try a new skill.
For many of the participants, Ladies on Target was their first time shooting a gun and we all found it to be an enjoyable day.
Around 70 female shooters participated and were assisted by around 20 volunteers from the SSAA Shepparton Club.
