LANDSCAPING works, as part of the Stage 1 North Growth Corridor development, have commenced in the area north of Ford Road between the Goulburn Valley Highway and Verney Road.

The North Growth Corridor is one of the two original growth corridors identified for future residential development in Greater Shepparton.

This will support this development through the addition of a shared pathway along Warrumbungle Drive, tree and wetland planting, play space with playground, shelter and BBQ area and public open spaces for residents to enjoy.

The landscaping works will occur Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm and on weekends only if required, with completion of the project expected in June 2022.

An information session will be held in the coming months for local residents to provide more information about the project and gain feedback on the design of the playground equipment and play space. Residents will be contacted with further details.

Council asks road users to adhere to all traffic management directions during the works.

For more information about the works contact the Projects team on 5832 9700 or email projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au.
