Ricardo Vilsson Mullor, Alaina Tuckett and Jonathan Tan will lead the new dining experience in the cafe, bringing together a wealth of local networks, knowledge and passion to the venture, strongly focusing on people through their commitment to excellent customer service while situated in the beautiful surrounds of the museum and Lake Victoria, itself.

In great anticipation of the culinary treats in store, Elsewhere at SAM functions and events coordinator Alaina Tuckett said, “We will go to great lengths to promote and support the incredible local producers that the Goulburn Valley has to offer, and our attentive service will ensure that your meal is just as enjoyable as the art you came to see.”

While the new café will additionally provide bar and catering services at the ever-popular SAM at Sunset, the current café at SAM will temporarily close as Elsewhere at SAM transitions into its new premises.

The café closure will coincide with a temporary gallery closure at SAM whilst installation of the museum’s upcoming major temporary exhibition Ash Keating: Elevation and collection exhibition Dance Me to the End of Love takes place. These new exhibitions will open to the public on Saturday, March 18.
