Major business excellence awards set to celebrate 25 years

SHEPPARTON’S premier business awards, the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry White King / Pental Awards is set to return after being delayed due to COVID in 2020.

The awards have seen 100’s of businesses and individuals recognised over 25 years.
Local manufacturer, Pental, which has experienced boom times due to high demand for its Shepparton manufactured household name products during COVID, continues to support the important regional awards.

The exciting news from the Chamber is the introduction of two new categories in its 25th year. Categories leading the way for an expanded 2021 Business Awards season.
2021 will see Innovator of the Year Award for businesses who have made changes to their operations during 2020 – improving existing methods or even starting from scratch – Demonstrate how you have innovated during 2020. Sponsored by NBN Co.
Environmental / Sustainable Business has been introduced to recognise business that is adapting to a low carbon economy and changing climate. Demonstrate how your business shows this to customers and stakeholders and delivers a better and more sustainable environment. Sponsored by Greater Shepparton City Council – Environment Department.

Shoppers and businesses will get the opportunity to nominate their favourite business and staff via nomination forms soon to be available through the Chamber and on line.

Nominations officially open on Tuesday 7th June, 2021 with weekly nominations featured in The Adviser from mid June for 16 weeks.

WIN TV’s Bruce Roberts will line up as the MC for this special 25th year of the Business Excellence Awards Gala dinner to be held on Friday 29th October, 2021.
