GREATER Shepparton City Council has announced upcoming construction works at the High Street exit of the Maude Street precinct in Shepparton.
The works involve demolishing the existing exit ramp to reconstruct a new one, which will enable vehicles to have a smoother transition onto High Street.
To allow for construction, Maude Street between Fryers and High Streets was closed from 7am on Monday, June 23 until 7am on Monday, June 30. Pedestrian access to the precinct will remain open during the works.
A lane closure will also be in place on High Street for two days. The eastbound lane between Wyndham Street and Maude Street will be reduced to one lane on Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24, between 9am and 3pm.

The footpath along High Street will remain open, and access to businesses within the precinct will be maintained. Signage and traffic controllers will be in place, and road users are advised to follow the directions and plan alternative routes in needed.
