Meating demand with a smile

STILL SMILING… Independent butchers, Emma and Martin Krueger of Krueger’s Fine Meats and Smallgoods, have a full range of speciality meats available. Photo: Alicia Niglia.

SOME things might be changing for lockdown number two, but your hunger for good meat is probably not one of them.

In fact, eating wholesome, filling and nutritious food is essential in this time of closed gyms, Zoom meetings, kids at home, and a likely further increase in Netflix binge-watching.

So far in Shepparton, it seems we’ve avoided the ludicrous ‘panic buying’ as seen in other parts of the state, but if you were feeling even slightly nervous, Krueger’s Fine Meats and Smallgoods are open as usual, with no issues with supply.

With their delicately prepared selection of speciality meats and traditional European smallgoods, Krueger’s has a growing reputation among foodies for their premium products with bold flavours.

Everything is made in-store, and you can expect everything from kransky, chorizo, cocktails, and kabana, to rookwurst or ham off the bone.

See the huge range at Krueger’s Fine Meats and Smallgoods at 22 Colliver Road, Shepparton. Alternatively, you can place an order over the phone by calling 5821 5414 or messaging them on Facebook.
