The State Government has announced tap and go technology will be rolled out at all train stations across Victoria, making paper tickets a thing of the past.
Victoria’s myki ticketing system is replacing paper tickets and eTickets currently still required at some regional V/Line stations including Shepparton, Mooroopna, Nagambie and Murchison East.
The Government announced 108 new myki readers will be installed across 37 stations with all systems set to be switched on later this year.
Myki cards are reusable and allow travellers to top up their funds online using the PTV app or via a myki machine located at train stations and some tram stops and bus interchanges. For more information visit https://transport.vic.gov.au/
