OUTSIDE is heating up and Shepparton’s premier leisure centre, Aquamoves, has reopened with new plans and new faces.

Taking over as program and education coordiator, Liliana Angeles will use her professional swimming experience and her desire to help people and athletes to take Aquamoves’ swim school to the next level.

Liliana’s mother knew the importance of being a strong swimmer and encouraged Liliana to jump into aquatics as a toddler. Since then, she has swum at Nationals and represented her home country, Mexico, at the Pan-American Games and at the World Championships in Canada in 2014.

“Swimming is my passion. It’s my thing in life and I knew going forward that I wanted to do something that involves the sport but allows me to help other people and other athletes.”

Liliana still attends swimming events and spends much of her time in the pool, and she is incredibly proud to join the team of professionals at Aquamoves.

“The staff are so welcoming; they have such a good energy and they’re always so positive. They’ve been helping me to adjust a lot. I couldn’t recommend a better facility or a better team.”

Aquamoves are looking for additional customer service staff, group fitness instructors, swim instructors and lifeguards to join their team.

Anyone who is passionate about health and fitness, helping their community and wants to work with a vibrant and inclusive team is invited to apply.

More information and position descriptions can be found at recruitment.greatershepparton.com.au/jobs or phone Aquamoves on 03 5832 9400.
