CARAVANNING and true off-road adventures into remote parts normally don’t go hand-in-hand.
Most caravans aren’t designed to be towed up 4WD tracks or on remote hauls, and that’s where Shepparton’s Rhys Conti saw a gap in the market.
A keen outdoor adventurer, Rhys ended up building his own caravan, and CRZR Industries was born.
“I’ve always enjoyed being remote. I just couldn’t see anything on the caravan market that was going to get us there – hassle free, anyway,” he said.
Rhys and his team manufacture high-end custom-made caravans right here in Shepparton. Each CRZR caravan is made specifically with the client after a thorough consultation process.
“Most caravans are designed for the highways and caravan parks, and that’s what 99 percent of people are going to do,” he said.
“But there’s a small minority of people out there who want the full package. If they want to go to the middle of nowhere, we make caravans that can do it and they don’t have to stress about little things on their ’van and whether it’s going to make it home or not.”
Beyond caravans, CRZR also builds tradies’ trailers and ‘toy haulers’ – anything that can pull motorbikes or ATVs, with features like built-in kitchens fully customisable.
