FOR Labour Day Weekend, The Adviser gave away VIP double-passes to readers for the Under the Southern Stars 2022 tour in Yarrawonga, thanks to One World Entertainment.
Nine winners plus a guest of their choice were treated to an exclusive welcome back to Australia’s premier entertainment scene. Giveaway winners Rita Costa and Matt Prendergast entered for their love of live music. Matt describes himself as an avid music fan who never misses a live show. He’s a big fan of Bush and Stone Temple Pilots, and Rita loves Aussie music.
Giveaway winner, Vickie Wells, said she was “rapt” to have won. She thought she would have to miss the show after an expensive trip for horse feed. While Bella Jafar entered for her dad, who doesn’t use Facebook but who is a big fan of the bands who played.
The day began with Rose Tattoo – the face of Aussie Rock, Angry Anderson, gave it his all. Closely followed by international acts Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Bush, Cheap Trick and the final performance by Stone Temple Pilots. With these headliners and all the trimmings to party like a rockstar, this was an unforgettable weekend.
