WALKING STICKS, spectacles and a mass of grey hair were everywhere at St Mary’s Primary School Mooroopna last Tuesday as prep students took a trip into the future and envisioned themselves a lot older to commemorate 100 Days of Learning.
Now a rite of passage for prep/foundation students across primary schools, the 100th day marks a special opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate major milestones in the students’ academic achievement.
“We are all so proud of our prep students and their completion of the first 100 days of their learning! The students have been so resilient with some of those days of learning having been completed remotely from home.” said St Mary’s principal, Anthony Butts.
“They have all done an outstanding job!”
