Prizes and how to enter for your share

YOU could win a share of $25,000 in prizes thanks to the GMCU and The Adviser by spending just $10 or more at local stores. Entering is as easy as 1, 2, 3 and 4:

  1. Spend a minimum of $10 at any participating business in this Giveaway (listed on page 28.
  2. Make sure to get your receipt at the checkout. Digital receipts can be screenshot and uploaded via the web browser.
  3. To upload your receipt and contact details, scan the QR code or go to the website: gmcugiveaway.com.au
  4. For a bonus entry, add your email address to join The Adviser mailing list. After you hit enter, you are in the draw!

The GMCU $25,000 Giveaway runs from Wednesday, June 3 to 6pm on Sunday, July 26, with the major $5,000 prize drawn Monday, July 27.

During the competition, there are 10 weekly $250 prizes awarded each week for five weeks, totalling 50 winners. All entrants have a chance to win the $5,000 major prize.

Local businesses participating in this Giveaway also have a chance to score a $1,000 weekly prize, awarded to one business each week for five weeks, plus a bonus $500 and a grand business prize valued at $2,000 awarded at the end of the Giveaway.

All prizes are chosen by random selection, so the more times you shop and enter, the more chances you have at winning.

With approximately 140 participating retailers, you could win a shopping spree anywhere from $250 to $5,000, just by supporting local businesses.

The Giveaway is also a great opportunity to explore new stores you haven’t visited yet or to treat yourself to that item you’ve been putting off buying, knowing that you could win a massive shopping boost.
