HOME to one of regional Victoria’s largest collections of historic vehicles, the Museum of Vehicle Evolution (MOVE) has plenty to keep kids, and big kids alike, entertained during these winter school holidays.
From classic cars, motorbikes, trucks and buses to bicycles, costumes and interactive exhibits, there’s something around every corner. The museum has also recently expanded with the completion of its new pavilion, creating even more exhibition space and allowing visitors to explore an impressive collection of historic buses and vehicles as part of a seamless journey through the museum.
A standout attraction is the War on Wheels exhibition, which explores the important role bicycles played in conflicts around the world. Among the fascinating displays is a folding military bicycle, accompanied by historic photographs showing how soldiers carried the compact bikes while parachuting into war zones during World War II.
