More women are taking to the track at Historic Winton, with the 49th event set for May 30-31, 2026, at Winton Motor Raceway near Benalla.
Local competitor Holly Samson of Monegeetta will compete for the fourth time, driving a 1927 Chevrolet Tourer in the Regularity category, where drivers aim to finish as close as possible to their nominated time.
Australia’s longest running historic race meeting, Historic Winton features non stop racing of vehicles from the 1920s to the 1980s. Tickets are available from Ticketebo, with trackside camping also offered.
