Liberal Member for Northern Victoria, Wendy Lovell, is again calling on the State Government to begin work on safety upgrades to the road infrastructure at Kialla West Primary School after a collision during pick-up time involving a car emerging from Cemetery Lane beside the primary school onto Goulburn Valley Highway.
Ms Lovell has repeatedly advocated for an upgrade to the pedestrian crossing at the school since the horrific accident in 2018, when a car picking up children from school was hit by a truck at the school crossing, leaving a mother and three young students seriously injured.
