Local Shepparton/Mooroopna business Aquafil Fresh hit an important milestone this year, celebrating a decade in business in the GV.
The business was born out of a vision to address a critical gap in the market: businesses were spending excessive amounts on bottled water. The old-fashioned office water cooler was non-eco-friendly, inefficient and a potential OH&S nightmare.
Over the last 10 years, Aquafil Fresh have been busy installing plumbed in, state-of- the-art, Aquafil Fresh office water coolers. These water coolers replace the 1990s 15-litre water bottle on top style office water cooler. Those 1990s coolers often create workplace dramas in trying to keep the work area tidy.
“The biggest issue, however, is from an OH&S perspective,” Aquafil Fresh Director Bill Dowling explained.
“It is not easy to lift a 15-litre bottle of water onto a water cooler standing over a metre in height,” he said.
“Businesses also now have far greater awareness and focus on being environmentally friendly. Another big advantage of our systems is, in 99 per cent of cases, businesses save money by using Aquafil Fresh water coolers.”
