THERE will be plenty happening at the 150th Annual Shepparton Show on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October, with a range of free entertainment and activities planned for families and visitors of all ages.
Along with the rides, showbags, animal activities and attractions everyone has come to love over the years, to open the 150th celebrating of the Show will be Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Visitors can also take a virtual trip into the world of agriculture with the Header Simulator from the Natimuk Agricultural & Pastoral Society. The interactive experience allows participants to drive a virtual header, harvest a crop and take it through to the silo.
A sheep shearing demonstration will showcase the skill, speed and tradition of Australian shearing, while The Connected Circus will give visitors the chance to have a go at circus skills in a fun and interactive environment.
With free entertainment, family activities, agricultural displays, competitions and special anniversary events, the 150th Annual Shepparton Show will celebrate 150 years of community, agriculture and tradition.
