Toolamba came alive over the weekend as hundreds turned out for the inaugural SOD Off MND community walk and fun run, raising an incredible $27,083 by Monday.

With donations still open until Friday, all proceeds will support a ground-breaking research team at Macquarie University, led by renowned professor Dominic Rowe. His administration of a promising trial treatment offers new hope and the potential to significantly extend the life of local woman Jane Spencer, who is living with a rare genetic form of Motor Neurone Disease.
