SHOPPING and summer sales continue in the Maude Street Mall, Shepparton, as construction works in the area are relaxed for the summer break.

Amongst the bougainvillea and dazzling Christmas displays, Shepparton’s new look mall is beginning to take shape and shops are trading as usual, with many stores offering great sales through the Christmas period.

Better yet, construction has not affected parking and shoppers can still enjoy complimentary parking across the Central Business District (CBD) until February 2022.

Paul Tsorbaris, owner of the Aussie Hotel said, “It’s great to see people out and about again, going shopping and heading in for lunch too.”

The new mall design will transform the precinct even further, bringing back slow moving, one-way traffic, on-street parking, a new playground, and beautification works to enhance the look of the area, including bringing greenery into the mall.

Stage 1 works should be complete in March next year, with the entire redevelopment completion expected for November 2022. This means that Christmas in the mall will look quite different for Christmas next year.

Let us support the businesses who bring life to our shopping precinct and buy local in the Maude Street Mall for Christmas this year.
