MAKE SURE you stop past the Maude Street Mall this Friday through to Saturday when Shepparton’s CBD comes to life with market stalls, tasty food, live music and family entertainment for the annual Summer City Market.

Held during the last weekend of summer, locals and visitors can pick up a bargain and enjoy free activities.

Bonnie McIntosh, the place manager for Greater Shepparton City Council, expressed her collaboration with local vendors to invigorate the economy and foster business opportunities within the area.

“A range of kid’s activities including giant games, silent disco and interactive wildlife display will be under the shade of trees near the Telstra Tower in Fraser Street, and boutique craft stalls will be ready for the community to enjoy across the two-day event,” she said.

“These annual markets are important to support our local hospitality and retail businesses. We are looking forward to visitors and locals taking advantage of the special offers and having a good time with their families.”
