IN the exciting preliminary-final soccer match of the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League (BASL), Tatura Soccer Club emerged victorious with a convincing 2-0 win over FC Eaglehawk.
The first half of the game saw intense action with four yellow cards being dished out, setting the tone for the match. The breakthrough came just before the halftime whistle when Fraser Gosstray netted a goal in the 44th minute, putting Tatura in the lead.

Tatura continued their impressive performance in the second half, and Thomas Leech sealed the victory with a goal in the 79th minute.
In the other thrilling preliminary-final match held concurrently, Shepparton South SC faced off against Epsom FC. Shepparton South managed to secure a narrow 3-2 victory in an intense back-and-forth battle.
Both preliminary-final matches showcased the high level of talent and competition in the Goulburn Valley region.
With Tatura SC and Shepparton South SC emerging victorious, it sets up an exciting all Goulburn Valley grand final next week, promising a thrilling showdown between these two formidable teams that have displayed remarkable skill and determination throughout the season.
