A WEEKEND of motoring fun will hit Shepparton next weekend, when the 2021 Tour de Course brings up to 50 participants and their unique cars to town.

What’s billed as a massive weekend of events based in Shepparton and the region, the Tour de Course is a chance for motorsport enthusiasts to show their wares – and their skills – on track and road.

Local organiser, Robin Knaggs, said the three-day event starting on Friday, February 26 and finishing on Monday, March 1, would involve circuit sprints, auto tests and competitive navigation.

“There’s also various cars: late-model Porsches to Mercedes-Benz’ to Subaru WRXs, Mitsubishi Evos – all different makes and models,” he said.

Saturday will start at DECA Shepparton, followed by a navigation course finishing at the event’s home base at the Sherbourne Terrace.

Sunday will be a day at Wilby Park Raceway about an hour northeast of Shepparton, and Monday will be spent at the State Motorcycle Sports Complex in Broadford.
Up to 50 entries will be accepted, with spots still available. For more information, see komotoringevents.com.au.
