La Trobe University’s Shepparton campus will host an open day on Sunday, August 9, 9am to 2pm, giving prospective students a chance to explore campus facilities, a wide range of study areas on offer, and pathways to higher education. Register online for the open day: www.latrobe.edu.au/events/all/open-day-shepparton-campus Monday evening La Trobe hosted the 2026 Fairley La Trobe Lecture, presented by keynote speaker Michael Traill AM to a crowd of around 80 people. The lecture explored how philanthropy can help regional communities thrive by investing in local leadership, listening to communities, and combining business expertise with social purpose.
