DISGRUNTLED resident Judith Mitchell has had enough of all the rubbish being dumped around Shepparton. Last week across from her house in the Furphy Park Playground on MacIntosh Street, a five-seater couch and mattress were left lying on the grass.
“This is a pleasant park, people have picnics here, kids and family’s play on the equipment and quite often people are kicking a footy. People need to take more pride in where they live,” said Mrs Mitchell.
“We need a solution to stop this happening. Clearly some people are just lazy, but I feel other people just can’t afford the tip prices. It is happening all over Shepparton. I don’t know what to do but something needs to be done,” she added.
