THE 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Goulburn Murray Credit Union Cooperative Ltd, better known as GMCU, will be held at the Parklake Hotel, 481 Wyndham Street, Shepparton on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 commencing at 7:30pm.

The GMCU was formed on July 1, 1985 as an amalgamation of the Kyabram Credit Union and the Shepparton Credit Union to provide banking services to the communities in and around Shepparton, Kyabram, Seymour, Mooroopna, Numurkah and Echuca. Today, the GMCU not only continues to support those communities, but also has branches in Benalla, Kilmore, Violet Town and Euroa.

GMCU has achieved strong results for the 2017/18 year while continuing to provide banking services to over 17,000 members, contributing over $4.5M to the local region through employing local staff, trades and suppliers, as well as supporting over 120 local clubs, sporting groups and community organisations through sponsorships and donations.

CEO, Melissa Ralph said, “As a credit union, GMCU is customer owned. This means that when you become a member, you become part of GMCU.  All members are encouraged to come and meet the board of directors and management team at our annual general meeting.”

GMCU has branches throughout central Victoria, each with experienced bankers who can help locals with their choices. Visit GMCU Shepparton at 95 Fryers Street, Shepparton or contact the branch at 5821 9033.
