When 14-year-old Shepparton teenager, Bodi Fitzsimmons told his dad, Dale, that he had just won a brand new 2019 Suzuki Swift, his dad thought he was joking.
Bodi, like many other Australians, had given in to the fun and temptation of the McDonald’s Monopoly competition that ended recently. The competition promises a one in five chance to win instantly, and all you have to do is download the app and purchase some McDonalds.
Bodi had accumulated quite a few entries, and after telling his dad that he had a good feeling they would win something big this year, was still surprised when he saw the Instant Win card with a Suzuki Swift on it.
As Bodi is still a couple of years from getting behind the wheels of a car, his parents, Dale and Lyn, will be sharing the prize with him.
When asked how they felt about winning such an exciting prize, Dale Fitzsimmons said, “These are the kinds of competitions you usually enter for fun. You don’t really expect to win anything other than a small fries or a drink!”
