YOU know you’re set to make it big in the motocross scene when you have one of the best riders in Australia scout you. Local motocross champion, Madi Healy has already made a name for herself on the track across the country, but she will only continue moving up the ranks becoming only one of three in Australia to have scored a two year contract with motocross big name, Leigh Hogan, which includes a sponsorship deal with Honda through the Building Champions Program.

Madi said, “I’m so stoked. This will help me out a lot. It will help build on my technique and my confidence in racing, which will help take my riding to the next level.

“It will also set me up for future sponsors.

“I find the suspension and handling good on the Honda.

“The knowledge Leigh is passing on to me is invaluable.”

Although she is racing towards the big time, Madi still utilises locals, AJs Motorcycles to help with keeping her bikes in tip-top shape.

On top of all of this exciting news, Madi has also just come out of the weekend on top of the ladder at the first leg of the Victorian State Titles, where she won every race by between 30 and 40 seconds each race. The next leg will run in Mildura on June 1 and 2, followed by another round in Ballarat on June 29 and 30.
