THREE Shepparton locals are hopefuls to take out a position in this year’s Country Basketball League (CBL) All Star 5, with voting taking place last week and winners of each category expected to be announced at the end of the season in February.
Rhianna Barton was represented under the North East Women category, with Nick Dodd and Dylan Wayman being represented under the North East Men category.
CBL manager, Sammy Cartwright said, “It’s always great to see another season reach the CBL All Star period as our best players start to stand out across the league,” Cartwright said.
“These athletes were nominated by their peers as the Country Basketball League’s elite and that speaks to their impact throughout their teams and across the entire competition.”
