Lucky local wins library’s worth of books

ONE lucky local resident recently became the winner of an Australia-wide competition to win $12,000 worth of books courtesy of Collins Booksellers’ 2018 Christmas Reading Guide.

 

Kerri Christie entered the national competition in December and was completely shocked to receive the call to come and collect her 378 books from the Shepparton.

“I still can’t believe that I’ve won,” Kerri excitedly explained, “I’m going to need to renovate my house or start up my own little library with all these books.”

The win comes on the back of a stellar year for Shepparton Collins Booksellers. For the first time, Collins Booksellers local owners Joe and Helen Sofra were awarded the national ‘Community Involvement Award’ for 2018, as well as the ‘Excellence in Marketing’ 2018 Award. Congratulations Joe and Helen and the team at Collins Booksellers for their remarkable year and congratulations Kerrie Christie for winning the Australia-wide competition.
