Marketplace comes alive in the fight for cancer

MANY gathered together on Saturday at the Shepparton Marketplace to have their hair coloured or shaved as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.

The Big W square came alive with brave participants shaving or colouring to raised much needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.

The team at Just Cuts generously donated their time to shave or colour all participants.

Shepparton Marketplace centre manager, Theresa Lowe said, “We were once again proud to host this great community event. All proceeds from the day will go directly to the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.

“Thanks to everyone who attended and for the team at Just Cuts for donating their time, and to our retailers who provided raffle prizes and products for our Cookie, Cake and Candy Bar.”
