Two new cows have joined the herd of Greater Shepparton’s Moooving Art.

Aptly named, Journey and Blossom are the latest additions on display at the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre.

Journey is an Indigenous-inspired cow, painted by talented local indigenous artist, Ross  Morgan. She is the third cow that Ross has hand painted in the collection, the other two being Family and Coming Together. All three cows are reflective of the region’s local Indigenous connections, and each have personal links to Ross and his family.

Blossom is a floral design by another local artist from Mooroopna in Amanda Charquero. Amanda’s other flowery cow Sunnyfields,  can currently be found grazing in Monash Park.

You can find Moooving Art cows in parks, gardens, businesses and public spaces. There are more than 90 in the herd and each one is an individual and quite distinctive in their persona.

“Our Moooving Art cows are a part of our region’s identity,” said Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Seema Abdullah. “They honour our rich dairy industry while also providing the opportunity for some of our most talented local artists to showcase their work. We thank Ross and Amanda for their latest pieces of art, and can’t wait to see them join the herd out and about in Greater Shepparton,”
