SHEPPARTON Railway Station is set for a much needed makeover, with a new and modernised customer service and waiting area to be installed as part of VicTrack’s Road and Rail Minor Works Program.

The Road and Rail Minor Works Program will deliver additional commuter car park spaces, new bus shelters, improved station amenities and bus interchanges, new passenger information displays, and new bike parking facilities across Victoria.

VicTrack is also building 11 new bus shelters across Shepparton and Mooroopna with works commencing from last week and run until September.

Some bus shelters will be temporarily relocated so works can be undertaken and some temporary footpath closures will be in place with clearly signed pedestrian and traffic management in place.

The bus shelters in Shepparton that will be affected include 11 Kittles Road, 101 Maude Street, Waranga Drive at Dartmouth Court, Longstaff Street at Roberts Street, Friesian Crescent at Merino Drive, Channel Road at Da Vinci Drive and Hicken Crescent at Fahey Street.

The bus shelters in Mooroopna that will be affected include Daisy Street at Albert Street, Anderson Street at MacIsaac Road, Carr Crescent at Echuca Road and McKean Street at Agnew Street.
