To build on the outstanding work of the Under 12 and Under 13 age groups in its inaugural year, AFL Goulburn Murray has extended its Junior Netball Development Academy Program with the addition of an Under 14 age group.
The Under 14 age group will build on the U12 and U13 age groups with more of a specialised court structured development in preparing players for Netball Victoria Talent Pathway programs.
AFL Goulburn Murray Netball administrator, Peita Sleeth is excited about the second year and continued growth of the program.
“Given the overwhelming positive feedback from players, parents and our coaching panel about the 2019 program, it was only natural to add another age group to 2020.” She said.
“The addition of the Under 14 age group allows those players who are lucky enough to participate the opportunity to put into play what they’ve learnt, with a more tailored program to prepare these players to continue through the Talented Pathways.”
Player nominations are now open through www.aflgoulburnmurray.com.au, with trials beginning on November 7 at Shepparton Netball Association.
