ARTIST, Cam Scale has recently started painting the third art silo at Devenish, with plans to reveal the large-scale Light Horse Mural with a special event day on Sunday, April 14.

Guests are encouraged to arrive at 9am to take part in a special ANZAC service conducted by Shepparton and Yarrawonga/Mulwala RSL Clubs, followed by the official opening of the Light Horse Mural.

There will also be a 1920s themed street parade featuring an impressive display of classic vehicles. Costumed WW1 nurses, light horsemen, air cadets and army health trainees will march alongside several RSL Clubs to the excellent sounds of the Hawthorn Pipe Band.

Throughout the day, there will be food and drinks provided, as well as entertainment and live music. History buffs will find plenty of intrigue, with Devenish Town Hall featuring an extensive historical display. Overnight parking is available for caravans on Saturday night.
