SHELLEY Sutton is standing for re-election to the Greater Shepparton City Council. Mrs Sutton was first elected in 2016.

Mrs Sutton said if re-elected, her priorities would be: Investigating the rating strategy to ascertain where savings can be made and also to ensure Greater Shepparton is competitive with similar municipalities; secondary education facilities in Mooroopna and Tatura; water for this region; hospital funding; train services; and a waste to energy facility.

“I will continue to work towards free timed on-street parking in the Shepparton CBD and am looking forward to the revitalisation projects currently being planned,” she said.

“I would like to see the smaller towns in the region grow and prosper over time with new and revitalised amenities provided.

“If re-elected I will continue to advocate for all in our community to make Greater Shepparton the place to be.”
