The Dookie Show is on again

For more than a century, local farmers and producers have been engaged in showing off their stock and products at the Dookie Show.

Now in its 136th year, the level of excitement is no different. The committee has worked hard to find new and exciting activities for the children attending not to mention free activities.

This year there are more sideshow entertainment while on the main arena there will biggest, same day, same venue horse show competition in Victoria.

The popular dog jump contest will be among the many shows to provide something for everyone. From photography to cute animals, to face painting and vintage steam engines, not to mention the show bags. The pavilions will be full of entries from horses, cattle, sheep, chickens, wool, crops, flowers, artwork, cooking, needlework and much more.

The Dookie Show opens on Saturday, November 2 with sheds opening after judging at 12.00pm.
