Collins Booksellers owners, Joe and Helen Sofra, celebrated their 15-year anniversary on September 29 as store owners of Shepparton’s premier destination for book lovers.
With the help of their two daughters, Georgia and Chelsea, they have enjoyed being a part of our community and have shown great resilience in weathering the pandemic storm and the shift to different mediums of enjoying books other than in hardcopy
The friendly team consists of Joe, Helen, Georgia, Chelsea, Suellen and Lilia. Lovers of books and big on reading, they can recommend a text for everyone.
The Maude Street development is complete in their section of the street so pedestrians can easily access the store as they did prior to the works commencing.
“We would like to thank our wonderful regular customers and new customers alike for their continued support over the years. Regardless of how technology evolves, nothing beats a great book you can hold in your hand and enjoy,” said Helen Sofra.
“Books still make a wonderful gift to be treasured by the recipient, and we love to recommend books if you tell us a little about your interests or those of the person you are buying a gift for.”
Joe and Helen look forward to what the future brings and to continuing to bring the magic of good books to the Greater Shepparton community.
