OVER one hundred people attended the Shepparton High School reunion earlier this month. Past students from the 1940s through to the 1970s enjoyed a “mix and talk” event at Mooroopna Golf Club.

Since the 1940s, the reunions have been an annual event, occurring on the first Sunday following Melbourne Cup weekend each November.

“Sometimes you see people you haven’t seen in over 30 years!” said reunion organiser, Millicent McNeill.

“It’s amazing how the memories come flooding back. It’s a fantastic opportunity to catch up with people you haven’t had a chance to see and reminisce.”

Millicent reiterated how this event wouldn’t be possible without the volunteers who ensure it runs smoothly.

“A big thank you to the committee members and everyone who helps on the day to make it possible.”

If you would like to join the committee or register your interest to be notified ahead of next year’s reunion please contact Millicent McNeill on 0409 438 299 or email millmcn@bigpond.com.
