IN late 1984, Craig Collins embarked on a career in the caravanning industry alongside his father Don, which after 39 years is still going strong.
First starting as Valley Caravans and Canvas in Shepparton South, where Tradelink is located now, the business transformed into Don Collins Caravans selling all the latest and greatest models including Capricorn Caravans, Viscount and then expanded to include Jayco.
Once the time came for Don to retire 18 years ago, after running the workshop with five other employees, Craig took the reins with a leap of faith and began his venture as Solar City Caravans.
Servicing the greater part of Victoria and surrounding areas ever since, Solar City Caravans are service providers for Dometic, Thetford, Leisuretec, Enerdrive and carry a well stocked showroom of bits and pieces.
