JOBSEEKERS can connect with the region’s largest employer, Goulburn Valley Health, when it holds its Jobs@GV Health Day next Wednesday.
GV Health has many positions available and is currently hiring administration staff, customer service staff, kitchen staff, cleaners, volunteer opportunities and many more positions across the hospital.
“We need staff across a huge range of departments,” said Tess Simkin, GV Health’s manager of talent acquisition.
“It’s a common misconception that you need to have a medical background to work at GV Health or that we’re only recruiting nurses and doctors. But the reality is that we offer a vast array of career opportunities.
“Running a health service is a big operation and we need a diverse set of skills to make it all happen. And of course, we always want to hear from healthcare workers. We’re encouraging jobseekers or people thinking about a career change to come and meet our team at the Jobs@GV Health Day and learn about the jobs we have on offer.”
