GREATER Shepparton Basketball Association (GSBA) is inviting all past players, coaches, referees, and volunteers to celebrate its proud history with their Celebrate 50 + 5 dinner on Saturday, November 23.
Beginning at 6pm, the two-course set menu dinner with dessert will be held at the Mooroopna Recreation Reserve and will be a chance for the GSBA community past and present to relive the glory days on the basketball court.

GSBA began in 1969 as the Shepparton Olympic Basketball Association, with games held at the old Drill Hall before the Shepparton stadium was built in 1972. Over the years GSBA has grown with the introduction of the Gator’s teams allowing a pathway for talented local players including Julie Gross.
Julie grew up in Tatura and played for the very first Tatura women’s team in the new Shepparton Association when games were played in the Army Drill Hall, before representing Australia and playing college basketball in the USA, winning All-American honours.
To take part in GSBA Celebrate 50 + 5, tickets are $50 per person, with discounts for GSBA Life Members.
