Construction works will begin on Monday, February 3 on Byrneside-Gillieston Road in Merrigum at the south side of the Merrigum-Ardmona Road intersection. Works will replace the culvert road crossing over the waterway and install a new guard railing as part of the Major Culvert Renewal Program. These works are expected to take approximately 10 weeks, weather permitting.
Byrneside-Gillieston Road will be closed to through traffic between Midland Highway and Merrigum-Ardmona Road during the works with a detour in place.
