Barmah’s Dr Geraldine Atkinson had received the Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the General Division for distinguished service to the Indigenous community, to education, to First Nations self-determination, and to reconciliation.
Dookie’s Peter McManus was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) on the King’s Birthday for service to the community of Dookie.
