Looking back, Scott said his proudest milestone was “turning the corner” after the early years, when the business carried significant debt. “I remember standing outside, thinking, hang on, I’ve got 15 wages and I’m a quarter of a million dollars in debt … how am I going to do this? But we worked through it, and becoming debt-free was a turning point.”
