138 people piled into 50 cars for the 30th GV Hospice Rallye on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, raising a record $151,000 for this great cause. The charitable event was another success, with everyone enjoying a weekend of great routes, camaraderie, memorable meals, and only a few minor mechanical problems.

Beginning at MOVE, the rally drove through Merrigum, Colbinabbin, Goornong, Kingston, Creswick and Ballarat on the first day of the trek. On Sunday, it was a wet drive via Daylesford, Malmesbury, Heathcote and onto Nagambie Lakes function centre for lunch, which proved an ideal venue for wrapping up a memorable, successful and milestone Hospice Car Rallye.

” On behalf of everyone at GV Hospice, thank you to the Rallye organising committee and all participants for your incredible support. Your generous contribution helps us go above and beyond in our care, and it is truly humbling to know so many people stand behind us,” said GV Hospice CEO Wendy Ross.
