THERE is nothing more fundamental or transformative than a child’s well–rounded, vigorous and joy filled education. This Education Week, schools across the region are opening their doors to celebrate the achievements of students, teachers and staff and to honour the rich learning opportunities that shape the most important and enduring journey of our lives — learning.
This year’s Education Week theme is Showcase Your School, and as such, schools across the region — and the state — will shine a spotlight on what makes each of them so special. From Monday, May 18 to Friday, May 22, schools will celebrate their culture, values, staff, facilities and programs by welcoming their communities to special student led assemblies, open days, classroom showcases, community recognition events and more.
Throughout the pages of The Adviser’s Education Week feature, the showcasing of schools starts early, but is no less celebratory. Each school and institution featured celebrates its unique values, character and story, while once again highlighting the indelible work of tireless and dedicated educators, teachers, support and administrative staff, alongside the achievements of students whose education not only sets a pathway to a thriving and enriched future, but to the future of our community itself.
